Now here’s a band that I’ve never really been able to figure out, the danish trio tung_nem.
The band had moved one step further towards a darker, more electronic, less catchy and perhaps even depressing sound,  so no one can blame them for not being afraid of walking new paths.




Cut Copy are a synthpop / electropop band from Melbourne, Australia. Their music has much influence from 80s new wave, synth-pop and post-punk. I can dig it.

This song fascinate me, and I think it always will. As well as bewitch, charm and enchant me.

Then it's probably no point in saying anything more about how much I love and worship this song.

Animal Collective is a neo-psychedelic (one of mye big wekness) band originally from Baltimore, Maryland. Animal Collective consists of Avey Tare (David Portner), Panda Bear (Noah Lennox), Deakin (Josh Dibb), and Geologist (Brian Weitz).

This Is England

As I cleaned the room it came a lovely song on the television. The way I am I have no other choice than to find out what song it was! And I found I found.  54-46 Was My Number. Written by Toots Hibbert and performed by Toots & The Maytals.  Well done guys.

The song was the opening song for the movie This Is England, which by the way is a very good movie. -With a lot of good music too. Then it became other plans for the evening.  
So much for homework...

Norwegian guys! Who can say that the Norwegians can't make music? Good music?
John Olav Nilesen og gjengen  is an living/playing example of that they can. 
Go watch them live! I will also go so far by saying that I think they were one of the top 5 bands I saw at Roskilde festival 2010.

Have you missed me?
The simple and rigorous reason for I haven't been so active here is that the reality came to me. School.
But that shall not stop me from doing what I adore. Listening to stunning music! 

Leisure Alaska : What a great band.
There has been a bit difficulties regarding the band manage to stick together as a band, because at a time the band had low enstusiasme (a “classic” band killer?). The good news is that band is still a band though it's now scattered geographically (band members living/staying in The UK and Denmark).
Let's hope they find a solution to their problems... soon.

Formed in Stockholm by  Adam Olenius (vocals), Ted Malmros (bass), Carl von Arbin (guitars),  Eric Edman (drummer) and Bebban Stenborg (keyboardist). With their peppy Swedish pop they melt my ears and heart.

Today I've been so lucky and come across two pleasant and cool songs. 

1st song: This I heard on the radion as I sat in the car and drove. 

The Naked and Famous are a five piece indie band from New Zealand.

On December 6, 2010, BBC announced that The Naked and Famous had been nominated for BBC's Sound of 2011. -And not without reason.



Love this kind of voice. I give in every time!

Masterful filmmaking and masterpiece music

When a movie is so good that it makes my day, my week, my month, and the soundtrack`s incredible as well, I call it a  perfect movie. Danny Boyle`s 127 Hours is such a film.

I  couldn`t have said it better:
 "And while a movie about a guy stuck in a narrow gorge might not sound very interesting visually, Boyle is more than up to that challenge. The result is a white-knuckle rollercoaster that takes us deep into Ralston's psyche until we share the experience with him. Yes, it's shattering, but it's also exhilaratin...g to watch. Although "watch" isn't the right word for this film. "Experience" is more like it.
(...) And with music touching on just about every conceivable genre, AR Rahman has invented a fresh new way to score movies. (...) And that's the sign of masterful filmmaking."

And when the film ended with Sigur Ros - Festival, it reached heights I thought was impossible to reach.

I came across  this  "old" Norwegian  song  here  this morning.  Well, it's not old-old, but it feels like it. It came  out  in October 2002. But it was only  in  January 2003 "Utadæsjælåpplevelse" took completely off. The single was on the VG-lista Topp 40 in 19  weeks,  including  several  weeks  in the third.The single rounded eventually certified platinum.

I drop to add  the spotify-version of  this song, because it sucked.
Here it is to be enjoyed, with text, so there are no excuses for not singing along.

This song reminds me instant of summer 2010. And that is a feeling I love!
Hence, I love this song.
